Creative Team

Dan Bertalan: Great Outdoors Multimedia
Psychologists would struggle trying to figure out which of his dual personalities rule in the production studio. Does the cold logic of his marketing savvy and award-winning writing wrestle relentlessly with the wildly creative cameraman and editor stirring within? Awh who cares…his clients only know that his innovative business concepts blended into compelling media consistently propel them to the forefront of their respective markets. Duuah, what else matters?

Jimmy Sheldon: Extreme Outdoor Video Productions
This guy can't even dress himself properly. But how can we blame him when one moment he's videotaping in the icy spray of endurance paddlesport races and the next he's producing stuff from the sandstorms of Iraq. His ingrained passion for outdoor adventure allows Jimmy to capture the essence of outdoor action in both the camera lens and in the studio. Now if we can only find someone to dress him right. Sorry dude, no takers.

Chris Abraham: Abraham Productions
This guy rivals Superman because he's meeting himself coming and going so much between a vast array of projects. Steeped in a solid career of television and commercial video production, Chris does it all from industrial, commercial, infomercial to outdoor action and adventure. They only thing that matches his skills behind his collection of cameras and field gear is his fluidness in one of his editing studios. Now if we can just figure out if he's coming or going. Zip!

Jon Lemerond: LightningRod Multimedia
Poor Jon needs Band-Aids and CPR for all the artistic creativity leaking out of him. A genius in the complexities of 3-D animation and artistic lead development, Jon’s creative work has impacted video gaming and TV audiences across the nation. Geeze, the way he makes so many unreal things come to life in various forms of multimedia is…downright scary, and of course very cool.

Bob Kunc: Beob Films
Talk about a Jack-of-all-trades named Bob. This guy is SO skilled we can’t figure out what the heck he does…musical composer, screenplay writer, director, producer, editor, cameraman and movie actor. All we know is that he’s also a master at programming interactive multimedia in CD-ROM and DVD. And until he makes it big on the big screen we’ll keep tapping into the overflow of talents he brings to the table in creating media that rocks.

Cindy Bertalan: Independent Educational Specialist
No longer breaking yardsticks across the knuckles of high school science students, Cindy now uses her zeal for environmental education in developing multimedia curricula for state and national programs. With a background in biology, conservation, horticulture and wildlife education, Cindy turns educational challenges into interactive discovery-based learning that is truly shaping the outdoor perceptions of our next generation.

Matthew Harmon: eV Interactive
This guy needs government clearance before he can work on projects. Director of Development, Matt is this remarkable nerdy genius lurking under the normal exterior of an everyday human being...which he definitely not. A master at computer game development and programming, his video games have impacted millions of gamers around the world. His innovative jet fighter game developments caused the U.S. government to pull him from the private sector. Now Uncle Sam only allows him to make outdoor adventure games…which delights us to no end.

Rob Nelson: Explore Biodiversity and The Wild Classroom
A holder of two masters degrees in biology and filmmaking, Rob adds an intellectual and creative addition to the team. But there is more to him than his intellectual side. He's into several extreme sports and has mastered camerawork as a climber, diver and kayaker. The "extreme adventure" side of him translates into his filmmaking style, making him a perfect addition to the Great Outdoors production team. Like the website? ... he did that too.
